Introduction
Hello
Local Malaysian Discus Fish Hobbyists & Aquarists! It is 8pm on Wed
29th July 2009 when I start writing and designing this piece of
webpage. Before I warm up, I like to know how many Malaysian know
what the kind of fish called discus is? Many especially teenagers
ask me what is discus fish am I talking about? They are only familiar
with arowana, koi, betta, goldfish etc. but even though discus fish
had been around for decades, where is the awareness in our people, especially Generation Y and Z ?
Sad phenomena, and even worse is that all the great quality ones
were possessed by foreigners. What is left here are those with low
grade with high price. Isn't it?
I don't
like to see this continuing forever and it is my mission to create new local discus hobbyists to take up this hobby as I will try to produce to
them as much fish of highest quality with very low low low price.
Inflation is spreading in our present government policy and I am
here to counter it! I hopefully wish to see high quality fish easily
accessed everywhere in this country, starting in Kuala Lumpur. I
want to make many local people feel affordable to own high quality
discus fish, but not the case for foreigners.
What local
hobbyists need to do now is easy! Just fill in the registration form and submit to
register as FREE member , and enjoy milestone privilege. I really hope my members will not sell my fish to
oversea importers. I don't tolerate that! B'cos in
future when foreigners visit our country, they will eventually
praise us as a high quality country, starting with discus fish. What
is in their mind now is probably Malaysian don't know how to take
care their own people in the first place.
In future, I
believe even local hobbyists can produce better quality discus fish
as more local players will get involved since great quality fish can
be easily accessible. Hopefully every aquarium shop will be flooded
with high quality and cheap priced discus fish.
What is called
high quality fish doesn't imply that the fish must be attractive
because it is boosted with colouring agent and hormone. We can
always go for natural colour and the fish will grow up faster ,
healthier and more fertilized . That is good for spawning. I like to
take the chance to thank my friend, David who commit fully on
natural colored discus fish. Forget about coloring! It hurts the
poor fish.
By the way, my email: yaptimmy@yahoo.com and I am
located near Carrefour Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. Thank you local! Get
connected.
